Story of Trusty Owl Studio
The stone fireplace and hearth is an immovable center inspired by the song & spirit in nature. The stone cut moon is my invitation to others seeking a sanctuary for art, music, storytelling, introspection, restoration, contemplation, and creation through ritual and connection. Element, fire, and the hearth represent craftsmanship, poetry, refining of skills, and achieving eloquence of personal expression. All characteristics alive in the rock, water, and mountain formations of Red Feather Lakes, Colorado.

Trusty Owl Studio
The studio was dreamt up, talked about, thought about, and sketched out, for many years. Sketches transformed realizations, experiences, and dreams. My creative partner and father, Milo, co-created Trusty Owl by patiently drawing out the ever-changing blueprints to reflect my vision. The building stages were both metaphorically and physically creating a stone center to house my inner transformation. Moments of laughter, memories, stories, and song, fell between each rock cementing in place our past, present, and future.
